Epson Monna Lisa Highlighted Digital Textile Innovation at ITM 2026 in Istanbul

Istanbul, Türkiye –  July 2026 – Epson's Monna Lisa division made a significant mark at ITM 2026, showcasing its latest advancements in digital textile printing technology.

The exhibition served as both a product launch platform and a key opportunity for strengthening international business relationships across key growth markets, including Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Egypt.

At the centre of Epson's exhibition stand was the Monna Lisa ML 32000, a high-performance digital textile printer featuring a sophisticated camera system and 16-colour ink channel technology.

The machine's integrated camera enables automatic motif detection within designs, allowing for precise pattern-matched printing.

This capability is particularly valuable for manufacturers operating at the premium end of the market, where quality consistency is non-negotiable.

By reducing error rates during the printing process, the system drives production efficiency and directly enhances the quality of the finished product.

A further differentiator of the ML 32000 is its ability to operate with both reactive and pigment inks on the same platform.

This dual-ink compatibility gives manufacturers greater flexibility across different fabric types and application areas, without the need to invest in separate machinery.

Alongside the ML 32000, Epson also unveiled its new-generation ML 18000 model.

Designed for more compact and efficient production environments, the ML 18000 presents a tailored solution for manufacturers with varying output requirements — broadening the accessibility of high-quality digital textile printing.

Francesco Nozza, Head of Epson Textile Division and Sales Manager for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), commented on the company's experience at the show. "ITM 2026 is not only a product presentation platform but also an important meeting point for developing international business relationships. Throughout the exhibition, we received positive feedback from visitors from many countries, especially Pakistan, Bangladesh and Egypt."

Nozza also highlighted the strategic significance of Istanbul as a host city, noting that Türkiye's long-standing reputation as a quality-focused textile market, combined with Istanbul's geographic position, lent the exhibition genuine global appeal.

Looking ahead, Epson Monna Lisa intends to build on the momentum generated at ITM 2026 by deepening existing customer relationships and forging new partnerships across key international markets.
