Epson Inkjet Printers Secure Best Of The Best At 2026 Red Dot Design Awards

TOKYO, Japan -  May 2026 – Seiko Epson Corporation has announced that its high-capacity EcoTank inkjet printers, including the ET-4950, ET-3950, and ET-2950 series, alongside the EW-M678FT, EW-638T, and L6360 models, have received the prestigious Best of the Best Award in the Product Design category at the 2026 Red Dot Design Awards.

This marks the seventh time Epson has achieved this elite distinction, which is bestowed upon only a fraction of all submissions, underscoring the company's position as an authoritative innovator in sustainable and user-centric technology.

The award-winning high-capacity inkjet printers were designed specifically to meet the evolving demands of small offices and remote work environments.

Recognising the urgent, industry-wide shift towards flexible workspaces, Epson developed these models to harmonise with domestic interiors while delivering uncompromising productivity.

Crucially, these printers reflect Epson's forward-thinking commitment to environmental stewardship, featuring extended product lifespans and low-waste, cartridge-free technology that significantly reduces plastic consumption.

In addition to the Best of the Best recognition, seven other Epson product designs were honoured with Red Dot Awards, demonstrating a broad spectrum of industry-leading innovation.

The awarded products include the Lifestudio smart home projectors, which combine immersive visuals with rigorous Eye Comfort certification, and the compact DS-1760WN and DS-1730 flatbed scanners that streamline digital transformation for modern businesses.

The accolades also highlighted Epson's revolutionary PaperLab dry-process office papermaking systems, including the newly recognised Q-5000, Q-40, and A-8100 models.

By establishing a localised circular economy that creates new paper from used paper with virtually no water, Epson addresses the critical global need for resource conservation.

Furthermore, the SurePress L-5034 inkjet label press and the Smart SURF Bridge SB-H50 were celebrated for optimising operational efficiency, demonstrating Epson's holistic approach to advancing ethical and humane workplace environments.
