EFKA, Durst and TTS Jointly Host Live Webinar on Outdoor Advertising—Discover Sustainable Textile Frames and (SEG) Fabrics for Outdoor Use

On 27 January 2026, industry leaders EFKA, Durst Image Technology Deutschland GmbH and Texo Trade Services BV (TTS) will unite to present a live webinar titled "Outdoor advertising – textile frames and (piping) textiles for outdoor use".

This 45-minute session is designed to equip professionals with the expertise required to achieve sustainable, high-quality results in outdoor environments through the precise combination of textile frames, fabrics and advanced printing technologies.

As the demand for environmentally responsible solutions accelerates, the advertising industry faces the critical challenge of maintaining durability and visual impact without compromising on sustainability.

According to EFKA, achieving a perfect result in outdoor applications relies heavily on weather resistance, superior image quality and the correct printing technology.

The upcoming webinar will feature experts from the organising companies who will provide practical insights into replacing traditional PVC banners and hard materials with advanced textile solutions to meet these rigorous standards.

The session will explore specific technological innovations that make sustainable outdoor advertising viable and cost-effective.

EFKA will detail its adapted piping frame designed for outdoor use, which features a textile fixed behind a rehook guide in the profile channel.

This mechanism tightens the pressure and protects the installation against extreme weather conditions.

Complementing this hardware, TTS will demonstrate its range of textiles tailored to meet the increasing demand for eco-friendly outdoor advertising.

Furthermore, Durst Group AG will showcase its UV and sublimation printing technologies, specifically the new P5 500 Tex iSub.

This five-metre-wide in-line fusing solution enables seamless printing on sustainable polyester and PVC-free materials for both indoor and outdoor applications.

To ensure the insights are accessible to a broad professional audience, the webinar will be broadcast in three languages, addressing the most frequently asked questions about outdoor textile frames.

The German session will take place from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m., moderated by Sina Eilers of WNP Verlag.

The English session will follow from 12:00 to 12:45 p.m., moderated by Michael Ryan, Head of Fespa Global Print Expo.

Finally, Wouter Mooij, Managing Editor at Eisma Media, will moderate the Dutch session from 2:00 to 2:45 p.m.
