ColorGATE Releases Version 26 to Increase Productivity Across Digital Print Workflows
Hanover, Germany – July 1, 2026 – ColorGATE Digital Output Solutions has released version 26 of its software for RIP, color management, and digital print automation.
This new version from Productionserver and Filmgate introduces enhancements designed to improve production efficiency, workflow automation, and color consistency in large-format and industrial digital printing.
Along with significant performance improvements, the release features a redesigned Industrial Productionserver portfolio that provides application-specific software packages tailored to the needs of industrial printing environments.
A key focus of version 26 is to increase productivity in high-volume production environments.
The software accelerates the processing of multipage PDF files by automatically distributing large jobs across multiple RIP processes.
Previously, operators often had to split large PDF files manually to reduce processing times.
By automating this process, Version 26 significantly shortens RIP times while reducing manual job preparation.
Another improvement in terms of automating production is the new option to process even and odd pages in multipage PDF files.
This feature is now available in both individual job settings and Hotfolders and enables more efficient automated workflows for duplex production and other multi-stage print applications, minimizing operator intervention.
For industrial printing environments, version 26 introduces the Linearization Assistant Plus module for the Industrial Productionserver.
It combines Base Linearization with ColorGATE's established linearization and profiling technologies.
This solution allows operators to compensate for gradual print head wear and other production-related deviations with a single measurement.
It restores color consistency without requiring the creation of new printer profiles. It minimizes downtime and helps maintain consistent production quality, especially in demanding industrial and decorative printing environments.
Version 26 comes with the new Industrial Productionserver Essential portfolio.
The four editions—Ceramic PS Essential, Décor PS Essential, Packaging PS Essential, and Textile PS Essential—provide comprehensive functionality for their respective markets, making the portfolio easier to understand, deploy, and maintain.
Version 26 further supports modern production environments by updating the integrated Adobe PDF Print Engine to version 7.1.
This update improves compatibility with the latest PDF standards and Adobe Creative Cloud applications. The release also expands hardware support with new drivers for printers from leading manufacturers.

The Market Gap that Changed Everything
Future Fashion was founded in 2019, timed deliberately to coincide with a pivotal moment in global textile technology: the commercial launch of the EFI Reggiani BOLT Single-Pass digital printing system.
The founders recognised that single-pass architecture had fundamentally changed what was industrially possible - and that Pakistan's domestic market had yet to catch up.
Print is no longer defined by the inefficiencies that once characterised it…as advances in production processes and technology have significantly improved its environmental performance.
Taran Rai, Corporate Sustainability Manager at Epson explains why?
The story of what happens when young designers access digital technology is still being written.
What once was a theoretical sustainability goal seems to have shifted into an active regulatory reality.
