Birmingham, UK – August 2026 – CMYUK will introduce the new-generation JWEI SG1625 and JWEI SG3216 digital cutting systems to UK audiences for the first time at The Print Show 2026, running from 29 September to 1 October at the NEC, Birmingham.
The Print Show has been selected as the venue for this debut because it brings together printers, sign-makers, and production specialists in a practical, applications-led setting — offering the ideal environment in which to assess advanced finishing technology in action.
That range challenged the long-held assumption that advanced digital cutting technology required a premium investment, combining robust engineering, extensive tooling, and high production performance at a more accessible price point.
The New SG Generation Builds On That Foundation.
Key upgrades across both models include a 33.3% increase in cutting speed, now reaching 2,000mm per second, supported by an upgraded internal drive system that delivers smoother movement, faster response, and improved stability across the X, Y, Z, and T axes.
Operating noise has also been reduced to 64 dB.
The SG1625 features a 1.6m x 2.5m cutting area and is designed as a versatile, high-productivity platform for everyday commercial applications, including signage, display graphics, POS, packaging, and textiles.
The SG3216, with its 3.2m x 1.6m bed format, is engineered for businesses requiring super-wide cutting capability without the footprint of a longer table.
For textile production, the SG3216 can be paired with an optional rear de-tensioning unit developed by Neolt Factory, which synchronises with the conveyor to feed roll media in a stable, controlled state, handling rolls of up to 100m in length and 100kg in weight.
