Egotag Boosts Quality And Efficiency With Large-Format Colorado Printers From Canon

Egotag is a full-service sign company based in Hjørring In Denmark, where owner Kristian K. Kristensen has created visibility for customers since 2007 through everything from car advertisements and facade signs to cut letters, printed matter and much more. “No job is too big, and none is too small” as he says.

In line with increasing demand and the desire to develop new products, Egotag has just invested in two new roll-to-roll large format Canon Colorado M5W printers with white ink.

A Sustainable Choice – In More Ways Than One

Sustainability is also playing an increasingly important role in Egotag's work. The Colorado printers fit in well here, as they both reduce waste and energy consumption and at the same time provide access to more environmentally friendly print media.

"I think there are some environmental considerations to take into account, and the Colorado helps to contribute to them. We save ink and can be faster - and thus also save on energy consumption. You don't have to dig very deep to have the arguments that the Colorado takes us more in a green direction. It also opens up completely new media that are more environmentally friendly, and that we can now print on."

More Layers – Fewer Workflows

Kristian tells how Canon has been a game changer for their production:

"Canon has really opened our eyes. With their UVgel technologywith white ink, we can now print in multiple layers and have thus gained some completely new possibilities that we did not have before. We print quickly and efficiently in one workflow and in great quality.

The new printers save time and materials and at the same time provide completely new creative possibilities. Egotag can now offer their customers products that were not previously possible.

High Service And Technical Security

In addition to the print quality itself, Egotag also highlights the collaboration with Canon and the ongoing technical support as an important element of their operation.

“In our relationship with Canon, we especially value the technician visits. They update us with new features. They provide stability, high service – and ultimately high customer satisfaction. We are very satisfied – both with support and machine-wise. With the service agreement we have, there is certainty that things just work and that the quality we send out is always top-notch,” concludes Kristian.

High-Quality Roll-To-Roll Printing

The company's main focus is roll-to-roll printing, and the two new Colorado printers will play a central role in everyday life.

With high speed and precision, Egotag can complete tasks faster and with even higher quality than before – without compromising on durability.

"I think the ink and the new technology that the Colorado comes with are really great. It is durable, and the amount of ink that comes through is also less than what we have been used to on similar machines. Now we have a strong and durable product and at the same time save some resources and time. This is a lift for both us and our customers. There is something time-saving about it – both for us and for the customers," says Kristian.
