Ralph Lauren's Alina Gamboa Joins ARTS THREAD Global Creative Graduate Showcase 2026 Judging Panel
London, UK – June 2026 – ARTS THREAD is delighted to announce that Alina Gamboa, VP Head of Design at Polo & RLX Men's (Ralph Lauren), has joined the judging panel for the Global Creative Graduate Showcase 2026, presented in collaboration with Google Arts & Culture.
Gamboa will lend her expertise to the Fashion, Accessories and Textiles categories.
Now in its seventh edition, the Global Creative Graduate Showcase has become the world's largest initiative dedicated to emerging creative talent.
The 2026 programme is open to all art and design students graduating during the 2025–26 academic year, spanning undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate disciplines across every country worldwide.
Gamboa's appointment reflects the calibre of industry leadership behind the showcase.
As a senior design figure at one of fashion's most iconic houses, she joins a distinguished panel of experts tasked with reviewing and celebrating the work of this year's graduating creatives.
All judges are being individually profiled over the coming weeks, featured A to Z across Instagram @globalcreativegraduateshowcase and through a series of films hosted on ARTS THREAD.
It welcomes graduates working across an exceptionally broad range of disciplines, including fine art, visual communication, film, fashion, textiles, interior design, architecture, visual arts, contemporary craft, and industrial and product design.
Over the past six years, the initiative has established itself as a vital global benchmark for graduating artists and designers.
To date, it has featured 31,364 graduating students from 131 nationalities, representing 736 art and design institutions worldwide, and has attracted more than 1.3 million public votes.
The opportunity is open to all art and design students graduating between September 2025 and August 2026 (with Southern Hemisphere students graduating after September 2025), located anywhere in the world.
The showcase offers graduates the chance to share their creative work alongside peers from around the globe and to have it judged by leading figures from across the creative industries.
Submissions are currently open to all eligible students located anywhere in the world.
