Alkaram with its 10.000 employees is one of the largest exporters of printed textiles in Pakistan.

Alkaram, Pakistan signed for an Alpha 330 Series 5 at the ITMA 2019.

The Alphas have eight colour channels, with 32 heads as standard though this can be doubled to 64.

Resolution is up to 500×600 dpi, with variable drop sizes from 7 to 21pl.

The Alpha 330 can run at up to 460 linear metres per hour, assuming single pass mode at 300×600 dpi.

With their investment in the Durst Alpha Series and the corresponding Dual Roll Option, Alkaram could boost their outputs for US and European markets even further.

The system can control the tension independently on both rolls so that users can run different materials and with different amounts of materials on each roll.

It’s particularly effective when used with the larger 3.3m Alpha 330 and can significantly boost the productivity.

The new Alpha Series 5 with SuperMultipass™ defines a new generation of digital printing systems, creating a new high performance class through the integration of new technologies in the printheads, inks, drying units and in the interaction with the software – for the digital production of clothing, home textiles and fashion.

The Alpha series offers print widths of 190 – 330 cm (6.2 – 10.8 ft) and can be configured with up to 8 colors.

The Durst Alpha Series 5 printing systems feature improvements in terms of material handling, efficiency increases, and material diversity, with the aim of further advancing the economic efficiency of digital textile printing.
