The Sikka project is the prototype made by Timothy Liddell, Mahsa Bohlooli Zamani, Beatrice Capucilli and Leonardo Di Martino.
It is a lightweight architecture composed of modular elements inspired by the shape of the sail, which can take different forms, with the possibility of creating different environments.
Each consists of a textile surface, a polymer structure and a composite superstructure.
The complex curvature of the surface is achieved economically through selective tensioning of the fabric.
The structure was made thanks to the 3D WASP 3MT 3MT printer with pellets on elasticated fabric.
