Using a combination of powerful algorithms and AI Shelton Vision has created automated camera-based inspection solutions for all types of plain and patterned fabrics.
Shelton WebSPECTOR textile inspection systems, are delivered as high speed, stand-alone machines operating from batch to batch, or integrated to the output of an existing process line, such as sanforiser, stenter, printer etc.
Shelton has an in-house AI research group which has access to the world's largest store of textile defect images and parameters.
From this they have pioneered a real time version of defect classification and more recently a Deep Learning WebClassifier with near perfect defect naming and grading which enabling highly efficient processing of quality control data used as a commercially accurate feed into optimised roll cutting planning and beyond.
