Silk Bureau’s production team have been wowed by the colourful, vibrant artwork produced by Holly Kennedy the founder of Ink & Silk.

Watching the silks being printed with Holly’s creations, brings joy to the factory floor.

Can you imagine a room full of bright colour? It really is uplifting!

We would like to say a big thank you to Holly for choosing The Silk Bureau.

By using our digital fabric printing and in-house hemming service for her silk twill scarves, she really has brought a smile to our faces.

With a history of artistic studies, including illustration, interactive media and millinery, Holly was inspired to design and print her own fabrics.

Her exclusive designs are now available in many products, including masks, nightwear, ties, bags, purses and of course, gorgeous silk twill scarves.

Inspired by the natural patterns found in nature, Holly uses all kinds of mixed media to create her original paintings.

...using acrylic inks, paints, handmade stencils and lino cuts, oil pastels and ballpoint pens, I focus on colour, mark making and abstracted interpretations of the botanical world around me.

The resulting paintings are then digitally captured and saved to our printing specifications.

Currently Holly favours 90x90cm square scarves and 98x6cm Twilly scarves.

This gives a choice of finished product for her customers and optimises the printing width of the silk twill she chooses.
