HP invite the visitor to go to  Surface Print and their subsidiary 1838 wallcoverings at Heimtextil Germany this week in Hall 3.1, Stand E 10,  and discover first hand how HP Latex helped them boost their wallpaper production.

They recently  announced the installation of their fifth HP Latex press.

The additional machine, an HP Latex 3600, will boost capacity and satisfy the increasing demand for luxury wallcoverings from Surface Print’s international customer base.

With a unique mix of traditional and digital printing processes, this family-run business offers its customers a range of individual designs.

With a wealth of knowledge and years of experience in the production of luxury wallcoverings, 1838 Wallcoverings have launched wallpaper collections celebrating classic and contemporary design styles including damasks, florals and geometrics.

All showcase a wide range of printing techniques from heritage surface printing for a hand painted look, to the latest digital printing.

Select patterns are adorned with lavish, velvety flocks, glistening beads, high sheen foils, metallics and textured inks to bring them to life.

All wallpapers are manufactured using water based, non-toxic inks, which are environmentally safe and printed on responsibly sourced, recyclable, non woven substrates.

At the heart of 1838 is a celebration of design and craftsmanship.

A luxury brand manufacturing all wallpapers at their factory in Lancashire, England.

The name evokes the deep roots of wallpaper innovation, for 1838 was the year the first wallpaper machine was pioneered, just a few miles away from the factory.

A family owned business, 1838 is led by brother and sister team James and Abigail Watson, whose family has over four generations of wallpaper printing experience.

Some designs from the current collections have been printed on machines that date back over 100 years.

With the capacity to produce over one million rolls per year, one of the widest range of machine profiles in the world and a team of over 80 highly skilled employees, 1838 Wallcoverings can effortlessly combine tradition and innovation.

HP will show the latest Latex and Dye-Sublimation machines on their booth in Hall 3.0 at Stand F81.
