Aram Industries (A.R.i), based in South Korea, a company specializing in embroidery processing, is expanding its pigment textile printing business, attracting attention as a company that considers not only fashion design but also the environment.

A.R.i. has recently upgraded the quality and production of its printed fabric products by introducing four Epson Mona Lisa ML-8000s, expanding its business to process digital textile prints as well as embroidery processing.

The  Epson ML-8000 equipment used by Aram uses direct to fabric (DTF) technology in an environmentally friendly way.

DTF is a technology  that sprays various  colors of ink directly onto the  fabric, and is Epson's resource consumption reduction technology.

It is increasing sustainability in that it has streamlined the print process and reduced waste emissions.

In addition, the Epson printing equipment  used by Aram Industries  significantly reduces wastewater compared to  conventional methods, and  strives to increase sustainability by using inks and yarns certified  as eco-friendly.

By simplifying the printing process along with the use of eco-friendly ink, unnecessary resources such as water and fuel are not wasted.

Also the waste that may occur during the manufacturing process, is avoided by the new printing process that prevents environmental pollution as it increases the color and resolution of products.

Kon-woo Lee CEO of Aram Industries said, "As the printing market, like other markets, requires  technological innovation for  sustainability, the  textile market using  eco-friendly  processes and eco-friendly inks is  expected to  expand  further. We plan to continue to scale  up our digital textile printing production."
