At Texprocess In Frankfurt Epson Deutschland Partner With DMIx And Multi-Plot To Showcase On-Demand Textile Production
Gemeinsam! Digital! Produzieren!
Companies in the fashion industry avoid expensive overproduction and the waste of resources thanks to the high flexibility gained in the production of textiles and clothing.
In addition, they thus meet the increasing demands of customers for sustainable production. In addition to consistently transparent work processes, resource-saving supply chains are also required.
At TexProcess 2022, Epson, with the support of partner companies, will present a DTG/DTF workflow and a sublimation workflow for a sustainable, environmentally friendly production of modern, stylish textiles at its 104 m² stand (Messe Frankfurt, Hall 8, stand number C41).
The companies DMIx by ColorDigital GmbH, Epson and Multi-Plot are "best practice" partners in the field of digital product development up to customer-specific production techniques, through which a reduction of CO2 emissions and a comprehensive transparency of the supply chain is possible.
Collaborative software and hardware in the company's workflows help to achieve efficient D2C (direct-to-consumer) sales and resource-saving on-demand production.
DTG-/DTF-Workflow:
On an Epson SureColor SC-F3000 DTG printer, the manufacturer shows an effective workflow for creating T-shirts in an industrial application.
The individual, summery patterns were designed by designers of the German Fashion Institute (DMI) especially for this trade fair.
While the T-shirt precursors come from RTP, the company provides Walter Schulze with a suitable T-shirt press and a small drying tunnel.
The design is sent directly to the printer using the Epson Software Garment Creator.
With this application, both DTG (Direct to Garment) and DTF (Direct to Film) are possible and both will be shown at the booth.
Sublimations-Workflow:
Batch size 1 is still a trending topic.
With the support of the DMI and the company ColorDigital, individual textiles are produced in a workflow at TexProcess.
While the DMI contributes the trend colors and patterns of the season, the print data is processed and made available by ColorDigital.
A 64" (162.6 cm) wide printing dye sublimation printer Epson SureColor SC-F9400H, equipped with the neon colors yellow and pink, prints the file on sublimation paper, which is then sublimated on textile fabrics at the Epson neighboring stand by a calender of the company Multi-Plot.
It is then cut out a flatbed laser cutter.
Epson SureColor SC-F3000:
With this flexible, reliable DTG system, print service providers also react to individual orders at very short notice.
The device prints even complex designs quickly and precisely on numerous light and dark cotton textiles.
This DTG printer also offers a low total cost of ownership and is suitable for virtually all textile and T-shirt printers.
Production with the DTF process is also possible without any problems thanks to the "Garment Creator" software.
The SureColor SC-F3000 also meets strict environmental standards. The ink complies with the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS).
Epson SureColor SC-F9400(H):
The printer offers a print speed of up to 108.6 m²/h, making it suitable for demanding industrial applications.
Epson UltraChrome DS inks produce bright, colorful prints with high durability. With the optionally equippable fluorescent ink colors yellow and pink, the machine produces, for example, high-quality sportswear, workwear and fashion items in stylish neon colors.
The SureColor SC-F9400H has the ECO PASSPORT certification of OEKO-TEX. Thus, it can also be used to produce textiles for sensitive areas.
