Heimtextil | 10-13 January 2023 : The UK Fashion And Textile Association is delighted to confirm that a large group of British interior textile companies will be exhibiting at Heimtextil, from the 10th to the 13th of January 2023.
This key international trade show for home and contract textiles will be held in Frankfurt, Germany.
It is the global platform for interior textile companies wishing to present their products to a wide audience, as the event traditionally welcomes 60,000 visitors from 80 countries.
With the support of the Department for International Trade (DIT) and the GREAT campaign, UKFT is organising the promotion of 42 businesses from the UK group on the “British Textiles” stand (Hall 4.1, stand G52).
The British group at Heimtextil is the largest UK interior textile presence outside UK.
Heimtextil is the first international show for most of these textile companies since the pandemic and Brexit.
UKFT is working with them, to help them and their collections get to the show safely.
UKFT will also provide support on how to sell to the EU and other markets further afield.
This offer remains open to UK companies throughout and after the show.
This season, innovation and sustainability will be a key theme for many UK brands at Heimtextil.
This should come as no surprise, as UK designers and mills have been leading the way towards a better and cleaner industry.
From Art of the Loom, Aquabond, Bancroft Soft Furnishings, Christy of England, Edmund Bell, Emerson and Renwick, John Cotton Group, SILVERback to Prestigious Textiles, UKFT is proud to support businesses working to create a better future for the sector.
The UK is also well-known for the quality and originality of its textile designs.
UK textile design is world-renowned, whether from Central St Martins, London College of Fashion, the Royal College of Art, Huddersfield and other cutting-edge UK institutions.
This year, 26 UK design houses will offer their unique take on the season’s trends at Heimtextil: Acquitaine, Amilia Design Studio, Art Cottage, Artwork Portfolio, AVA, Banafshe Schippel, Beaumont Textiles, Claire Louise, Colwill & Waud, Dash + Miller, Diane Harrison Designs, Haley Studioos, Jane Mosse Design, Just Kids, Laura Beer, Mr Grieves Originals, Novelty House, Pattern Collective, Paul Vogel Design, Pure Studio, Rachel Child Designs, Simon Ashby Studios, Sooschichacha, Stella Marie Designs, Symposium Desigm Studio and Yellow Label Designs.

Several manufacturers will be part of the UK group this season, including Abraham Moon and Trimmings by Design.
We are also pleased to be joined by the three converters and traders, British Velvets, Caldeira and Fryett’s Fabrics.
