A new addition to the Your Print Specialists portfolio is their machine of the month for August ‘22; The Moditech EWS Electronic Work Station.
The EWS applicator table is a new product for YPS, with a model available to demo now at our Newcastle-based HQ.
Moditech has designed the 5th generation of laminator – the EWS Electronic Workstation with over 30 years of experience in the industry combined with their passion for innovation and ergonomy.

Features & Benefits
There are two versions of the Moditech EWS Electronic Work Station, the X2 and X4 model.
The Moditech EWS X4 is equipped with 4 electric legs and the X2 is equipped with two electric legs.
Both models offer the operator the ability to adjust the table height for a more comfortable working position.
The table can also be programmed to keep the optimal height for each user of the table. As an optional feature, tilt function is also available.
This allows the user to work at an angle up to 25 degrees, adding to the ergonomics of the range.
The table features an electronically controlled pressure roller which makes it possible to work anywhere on the table.
The roller maintains an even pressure and ensures it remains parallel with the table surface. Lamination no longer requires stretching across to the middle of the table.
Pre-programmed pressures allow for every type of lamination. Due to the electronic nature of the table and roller, a compressor is not required. (A massive bonus if your compressor is anything like ours!)
The Moditech EWS X2 is available in two lengths; 3061mm & 3804mm.
The X4 is available in 3 lengths; 3061mm, 3804mm & 5291mm.
Both the X2 and X4 have a standard width of 1750mm. Each table also features a foldable glidebeam to maximise the available working space.
The table framework is produced from laser cut steel with self locking trusses guaranteeing a flat and rigid table surface.
Stainless steel bearing tracks meaning no wear or readjustment is needed.
A host of optional extras can be added depending on customer requirement.
These include an LED backlit work surface, heated roller (X4 only) and motordrive for remote operation as well as tilt function mentioned earlier.
As a bonus, the table is also equipped with media/material and tool storage shelves which can be moved and adjusted if required.
Easy Delivery And Installation
Each Moditech EWS finishing table is pre-assembled and packed vertically so they can be transported more easily.
With a packed width of 78cm the table is easily delivered through doorways and narrow hallways.
For customers with small workspaces, the EWS work table can be a massive benefit to production and is no longer out of reach due to the size.
