Peractojet pigment inks from Farbenpunkt,  recently adopted by Ricoh, are proving to be an excellent choice for Digital Textile Printers.

Available in three viscosities from 4.0 to 15.5 cp and with a consistent surface tension of 34-36 mN/m, Peractojet Inks suit most digital textile printing machines and most digital printheads from Ricoh, Fujifilm, Epson and Kyocera.

Peractojet Inks use pigment particles that have been ground down meticulously to nano size in Farbenpunkt’s plant in Morbach.

Peractojet’s  nano-size pigment particles are then treated with proprietary chemicals.

Once printed, the ink is heated to around 170°C, which causes the particles to form a long chain molecule that binds them to the textile substrate.

After fixation, the pigments are permanently attached to the textile substrate with a bond that is both mechanical and chemical, and is effective on various textile materials and fibre blends.

There’s no further washing, steaming, ironing or any other process necessary after printing.

The combination allows a simplified digital textile print production process which:

  • Eliminates the need for high water and energy consuming stages of pre-treatment and post-treatment, saving up to €0.9 per sqm. These savings can equal twice the cost of the ink.

  • Uses hot air fixation at a relatively low temperature of 140°C – 170°C.

  • Delivers a quick fixation time of two to four minutes.

  • Ensures consistent and reliable results on synthetic, natural, and mixed fibres.

  • Meets or exceeds all industry specifications for strict colour fastness tests for washing, wet and dry rubbing, lightfastness, and ageing.

  • No pre- or post-treatment of fabrics required.

  • High-performance ink set for single-pass or multi-pass printing.

  • Water-based pigmented inks for textile printing.

  • Eco Passport by Oeko-Tex ®

  • Patented Peracto™ Technology
