Epson UK’s Surecolor SC-G9000 Is Set To Redefine High-Volume Direct-To-Film Printing
Watford – Hertfordshire - July 2026 – Epson UK today features the SureColor SC-G9000, its first high-production Direct-To-Film (DTF) printer built for businesses that demand greater output, higher reliability, and significantly less manual intervention.
Developed in direct response to customer feedback, the SC-G9000 addresses three core demands from production environments:

For operations requiring the highest quality output, the printer supports resolutions of up to 1,200 x 1,200 dpi.
A built-in front heater enables stable, high-speed printing across a wide range of media widths, from 300mm to 1,624mm, covering all common formats available in the market.
Minimising downtime is a central design principle of the SC-G9000.
The printer features automatic cleaning cycles, Nozzle Verification Technology (NVT), and a self-cleaning fabric wiper, all of which work together to maintain print quality and reduce the frequency of manual checks.
When maintenance is required, user-replaceable printheads allow operators to act immediately, without waiting for a service call-out.
Operational simplicity is supported by a 4.3-inch colour touchscreen displaying real-time printer status, ink levels, and upcoming maintenance cycles.
Large 1.6-litre ink pouches reduce the frequency of replacements during long production runs, while internal lighting allows operators to inspect print quality at a glance.
The SC-G9000 is also bundled with both Epson EdgePrint and Fiery Digital Factory software, delivering integrated colour management and workflow automation as standard.
