Brother Announces January 2026 Launch For Its New DTRX Direct To Film Printer

November 2025 - Brother has announced that its next generation of direct to film printing solutions, the Brother DTRX, is coming to the market in January 2026.

This new system combines outstanding print quality with proven reliability, empowering users to confidently manage larger orders and expand their production capacity.

Designed for professional, high-volume operations, the DTRX features an 80cm print width supported by an 81cm roll width, ensuring consistent, high-quality results across large-format projects.

The system utilises Brother’s specially formulated, sustainable inks, which are engineered to work in harmony with the manufacturer’s industrial print head technology.

This synergy produces sharp, vibrant, and durable prints with every run.

To maximise uptime and maintain quality, the DTRX is equipped with an industrial maintenance station that includes automatic ink circulation and a wet wiper cleaner.

This advanced, low-maintenance design minimises downtime and reduces the need for manual intervention, ensuring smooth, uninterrupted production even during the most demanding shifts.

The DTRX has been engineered from the ground up to support businesses in achieving their growth objectives.

Whether businesses are looking to expand their product offerings or streamline existing workflows, the DTRX is built to deliver reliable performance job after job.

The printer represents a significant step forward in direct to film technology, offering a robust solution for the modern, high-demand printing environment.
