bluesign Recognised in ZDHC Supplier to Zero Programme

bluesign is proud to announce its official recognition within the ZDHC Supplier to Zero (StZ) Programme, marking a significant milestone in its commitment to safer chemistry and responsible manufacturing processes.

This achievement underscores bluesign’s pivotal role in promoting alignment across the industry for sustainable and efficient manufacturing practices.

The bluesign Company Assessment for supplier facilities, well-regarded for its rigorous on-site evaluations and stringent criteria for chemical management and environmental performance, has now been acknowledged as a Recognised Scheme under the ZDHC StZ Programme.

What This Recognition Means for bluesign System Partner Manufacturers

  • Level 1 – Fully Recognised : bluesign System Partner facilities are now eligible to claim Level 1 recognition at no additional cost, facilitated by a voucher provided by bluesign.

  • Level 2 – Conditionally Recognised  : Facilities can claim Level 2 recognition by submitting valid ClearStream and Performance InCheck Reports via the ZDHC Supplier Platform. A standard transactional fee applies, as per ZDHC policies.

Effective immediately, bluesign System Partner facilities can seamlessly claim their recognition through the ZDHC Supplier Platform.

Streamlining Compliance and Driving Sustainable Manufacturing

This recognition represents a streamlined compliance pathway for existing bluesign System Partner manufacturers, eliminating redundancies and reducing assessment fatigue for facilities already meeting industry-leading standards.

By minimising duplication of efforts, it enhances efficiency while reinforcing the industry’s collective move towards aligned and sustainable production methods.

“We are honoured to be recognised in the ZDHC Supplier to Zero Programme,” said bluesign. “This milestone not only validates our ongoing efforts to uphold safer and sustainable manufacturing practices but also strengthens our resolve to drive greater efficiency and alignment across the textile and manufacturing sectors.”

By achieving this recognition, bluesign reaffirms its position as a pioneer in responsible manufacturing and its dedication to fostering meaningful progress for the industry and the planet.
