Epson to Launch the T3200-U3-2 Inkjet Printhead for Commercial and Industrial Applications
TOKYO, Japan – February 25, 2026 – Seiko Epson Corporation is launching the new T3200-U3-2 printhead as part of its PrecisionCore series in early April 2026 to meet growing demand in the commercial and industrial digital printing market.
The advanced printhead features expanded viscosity range and UV ink compatibility, positioning Epson at the forefront of innovation in digital printing technology.
This design enables stable ejection and outstanding reliability and durability with a wider variety of UV inks.
Compatibility with an expanded viscosity range gives these printheads entry to a broader scope of applications in commercial and industrial printing.
Demand for digital printing is increasing in the commercial and industrial printing market, creating more variation in customer needs and applications.
Since its release in July 2021, the previous model T3200-U3 has gained wide use, especially in printers for signage applications.
Additionally, the new model shares the same external dimensions, electronic interface, and ejection performance as the previous T3200-U3, making replacement straightforward for existing users.
The printhead measures 113.4 x 52.0 x 30.4 millimetres and features 3,200 total nozzles with an effective printing width of 67.2 millimetres.
It offers flexible head resolution options of 300 dpi for four colours or 600 dpi for two colours, with a built-in heater for optimal performance.
