Brother To Showcase Innovation, Automation and Customised Industrial Sewing Solutions at Texprocess
Frankfurt – Germany – April 2026 – Brother, a global leader in industrial sewing technology, has announced its participation at Texprocess, the leading international trade fair for the processing of textile and flexible materials.
At the event, Brother is presenting its latest innovations designed to support manufacturers across the apparel and non-apparel industries.
The showcase highlights the company's commitment to reliable, high-performance machinery, advanced automation, and customised production solutions that address the urgent need for efficiency and sustainable manufacturing practices in a rapidly evolving market.
These technologies are meticulously engineered to increase productivity, precision, and workflow efficiency for manufacturers in sectors ranging from apparel and furniture to automotive interiors, protective equipment, and technical textiles.
By prioritising waste reduction and process optimisation, Brother continues to champion ethical and sustainable advancements in the textile processing industry.
A central highlight of the exhibition is Brother’s K series pattern sewing machine, featuring the pioneering DigiFlex Tune system.
This industry-first innovation enables the digital adjustment of sewing parameters and monitors upper thread tension in real time.
By actively preventing sewing defects, the system delivers greater precision and process reliability, ensuring high-quality output while minimising material waste.
Following the successful integration of Busche Automation into the Brother Group, the company now offers even stronger expertise in automated production systems.
This expanded capability allows Brother to deliver integrated solutions that seamlessly combine industrial sewing with intelligent automation.
To further address the critical issue of skilled labour shortages, particularly for automotive Tier 1 interior manufacturers, Brother is highlighting ABB Robotics’ OmniVance Sewing Cell.
This fully automated, standardised solution utilises a 4-axis SCARA robot to integrate handling, feeding, inspection, and sewing, delivering exceptional repeatability and fast changeovers for labour-intensive textile processes.
Brother is also joined at the event by its partner Sip Italy, a specialist in denim production technologies.
Visitors can explore innovative, high-performance solutions tailored for fashion-driven denim manufacturing, illustrating how strategic collaboration can yield sustainable and specialised production methods.
Throughout the fair, Brother’s international team of sewing specialists and engineers are available to discuss workflow improvements and application-specific machine configurations with attendees.
