Intertextile And Yarn Expo Shenzhen 2026 Pioneer Sustainable And Digital Innovations In Textiles
Shenzhen, June 2026 – To address the urgent need for sustainable practices and digital transformation within the global fashion industry, the Intertextile Shenzhen Apparel Fabrics and Yarn Expo Shenzhen will return from 9 to 11 June 2026.
By fusing timeless textile traditions with cutting-edge artificial intelligence and holistic sustainability, the organisers aim to equip buyers and manufacturers with the ethical solutions required to future-proof the apparel supply chain.
Fashion must not be left behind in one of the world’s undisputed technology and manufacturing capitals.
Consequently, the dual exhibitions will showcase a diverse array of materials ranging from Peruvian alpaca wool fabrics to innovative tea-derived fibres.
Attendees from the Greater Bay Area and beyond will discover comprehensive solutions across the entire value chain, with a strong emphasis on reducing environmental impact and promoting ethical production methods.
Ms Wilmet Shea, General Manager of Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, highlighted the event's forward-thinking approach. “We are proud to give our exhibitors the opportunity to leverage the fashion potential in the heart of China’s current manufacturing and tech capital. Both shows will welcome domestic and international buyers looking to pair sustainable textile innovation with downstream technological progress. In today’s world, progress is rapid but there is also a very real trend of nostalgia that many of our exhibitors capture with their offerings,” she stated.
The exhibition floors will feature industry leaders dedicated to material advancement.
Highlighted participants at Intertextile Shenzhen include 3M China Limited, showcasing their lightweight functional insulation, alongside Incalpaca from Peru and Italy's Trabaldo Togna, both representing the pinnacle of natural, heritage-rich wool production.
Concurrently, Yarn Expo Shenzhen will present pioneers in sustainable fibres, such as Hong Kong's Better International Holding with their functional plant-based materials and I Impact Fashion's eco-friendly recycled polyester lines.
Beyond the expansive exhibitor booths, the event will host authoritative expert-led fringe programmes designed to guide the industry through its current operational challenges.
Forums such as the Textile Dialogue and the Future Horizons Forum will tackle crucial topics including artificial intelligence applications for fashion, pathways to a sustainable future, and agile digital transformation for enterprises.
