Live demonstrations and a sample exhibition will be used to demonstrate the possibilities of large-format UV printing.
The visitor will be able to see a complete range of Digital Textile Machinery and suppliers in the "Digital Textile Micro Factory" which will show how to make a polo shirt in one hour.
The Micro-Factory will take place for the first time at TV Tec- Style Visions, where HP Deutchland and Zund will work with the German Institutes for Textile and Fiber Research (DITF) to show the complete production of a polo shirt along the entire production chain: from 3D design to the finished product.
The integrated showcase shows how technologies are changing the individualization and production of batch size 1 in the areas of corporate fashion and promotional wear and thus important target markets for trade fair visitors.
The starting point of the "Digital Textile Micro Factory" is the "3D design area", where creative designs are processed with the help of 3D simulation for the identification of orders for cutting and assembly.
Partners here are Assyst and Albstadt-Sigmaringen University of Applied Sciences.
With the support of the Cologne University of Technology, the designed products can then be viewed virtually on site and individually assembled in the virtual shop window.
The multispectral color communication of caddon printing & imaging brings together the visual impression with exact measurements.
In the next step, the designs are printed on transfer paper using sublimation printing from HP Germany using the new HP Stitch Digital print machine.
Thermofixation in the heat transfer calender supplied by Multi-Plot Gmbh ensures an optimal print result.
The subsequent cut is detected with the help of integrated position markers, so that the material can then be cut fully automatically with a digital cutting systems from Zünd Cutting Systems of Switzerland.
Finally, the individual components are made available for final assembly on Konrad Busche Juki sewing machines where the finished product will be finally completed using material supplied by Schoeller Textil.
Guided tours of the Microfactory take place on all days of the fair at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
Around the show, the visitor will also be able to see the latest machinery and products from, Canon, Neenah Coldenhove, Roland DG Deutschland, Epson and SAI.
