With on-site production and a talented design team they continue to push the boundaries of design and printed wallcoverings to new heights.
There products exude luxury, and their production facility produces exclusive printed products, created with the addition of embossed techniques and the use of pearlescent and metallic colours, gold and silver, to deliver a luxury aesthetic.
In addition to rotogravure wallpapers, Emiliana Parati also specialises in digital printing and have invested in the latest Epson SureColor R5000 print technology to ensure that they can address the interior design industries requirement for customised wallcoverings, murals and bespoke, specialised wallpaper panels. With a rich portfolio of print bases on offer, clients can choose from a selection of substrates such as linen, viscose, and cotton to create tactile, textile wallcoverings.

With a highly skilled team of in-house artisans their reputation within the luxury marketplace is renown.
The company have continually invested in new technology throughout their reign as a luxury wallcoverings design and manufacturing house. Working with luxury brands and designers to create exclusive products that complement their design ethos.
Claudio Adorni – Director at Emilana Parati explained:
“The Emiliana Parati business was born in the early 1970’s, and during the last 40 years it has developed products for all world markets with a total turnover of 18 million euros. Through our collaboration with Epson, we were able to develop new product types in digital printing, satisfying our customers more and more and applying new print applications we hadn’t been able to create before such as wide format installations and residential applications.
Debora Benvenut, Designer continued “Emiliana Parati was the first company in this industry to create real wallpaper collections for the major fashion brands. In fact, we manufacture paper products for renowned designers, such as Roberto Cavalli, Blumarine, Valentin Yudashkin and Gianfranco Ferre. Collections are created in our design studio manually using many textural elements to create rich luxurious surface effects. Sometimes we even add Swarovski crystals and gems for example”.
Alberto Paroli, Head of Department added:
“The production process starts in the coating department where we create our print bases. The coating is generally a paper or non-woven fabric, after which it is cured (gelation) in our oven where it becomes solid. Coated bases are then rewound into 1450m reels, then we deliver to the printing department where multiple variants of each design are manufactured. Afterwards the printed designs are moved to the embossing department, where product practically come to life as it passes through the oven with a specific temperature. Finally, and in one seamless process the paper is cut, trimmed, and rewound into 10m rolls. Packaging is also automated, and goods are transferred to the warehouse for onward distribution.”
Debora Benvenut, Designer, added “The procedure for producing digitally printed panel designs is different to standard production. When it comes to digital panels, we carried out internal studies and research to create a new product for the market. Beyond this we also aimed to meet the requests of our valued customers and brands who desired luxury wallcovering panels printed onto gold foils, silver foils and viscose textile fibres. Thanks to our partnership with Epson, we were able to create these new and innovative products.”

The addition of the 360° range offers customers a comprehensive online portfolio of luxury materials and bespoke digital printing combined. With which designers and brands can create unique and exclusive interiors. It builds on their established business to expand into the evolving contract and hospitality markets where materials and products must meet regulatory specifications such as fire retardancy, durability and aqueous properties. Flexibility is at the ranges core - clients can choose from standard sizing for custom printed wallcoverings or customise product dimensions to client specification.
With an impressive range of tactile surface effects and print bases including cotton, viscose, glass fibre, and vinyl - designs can then be printed to create stunning, high-quality surface that mimic marble, metal and organic surfaces.
Emiliana Parati’s team concluded by explaining “the intent of this project is also to make each digital panel adaptable to 360°, without limits to the imagination, providing total support for tailor-made creation. All the types of papers we produce are totally transpiring, non-toxic, washable and fire resistant according to the regulations of the sector. All inks used are water-based.”
