Join us for our four-day intensive Printed Textiles Holiday Workshops and explore and experiment with dyes, mark-making, colour, surface and texture.
Create exciting accessories or art works using screen printing and hand rendering techniques.

Materials will be provided for your initial project. You will be given the opportunity to purchase further materials as required.
What topics are covered?
An introduction to screen print.
Creating artwork /imagery for print with mark making and Lino cutting.
Techniques to include pigment, metallic, puff binder, foiling, flocking, discharge and cross dyeing with devoré
Exploring print on natural fibres.
Sublimation or heat press print using Dysperse dyes on synthetic fabrics.
The programme is designed to build a repertoire of skills through the week so the student works toward their own goals, having a personal tutorial with the tutor to create textile pieces from which to make their final outcome whether commercial product, textile art or samples.

Suitable for all abilities – beginners and those with experience.

By demonstration, one-to-one, small groups with specialist materials and techniques.
