Kariya City, Aichi Prefecture – July, 2026 – Leading Japanese textile solutions provider SHIMA SEIKI MFG., LTD. has unveiled a dedicated automotive version of its P-CAM R multi-ply computerised cutting machine for the first time, at a private exhibition held on 2nd and 3rd July at the Kariya City Industrial Promotion Centre in Aichi Prefecture, Japan.

The newly revealed machine is specifically engineered for the production of car seats, marking a significant development in SHIMA SEIKI's expansion into automotive manufacturing solutions.
