The program provides a level of transparency to the furnishings industry by illustrating how a product meets multiple standards and specifications in one succinct, easy-to read report.
The furnishings industry demands transparency with regards to whether products meet industry standards and consumer and retailer specifications, as well as the product’s materials and overall sustainability. With the Furnishings Verified Program, manufacturers can illustrate how their products meet these various standards and specifications with one short, concise report available via the Furnishings Verified Database and a document called the Verification of Conformity, given to the client. This report provides clarity and peace of mind with regards to a product’s sustainability, quality, safety and performance in a quick, easy-to read manner. It also protects confidential or private product information appearing in longer form reports that manufacturers may not wish or need to disclose.
