In the Smart Creation Zone at Premier Vision in Paris from September 17th-19th Greendyes will show their certificated naturally based dyeing system to the Textile World.
Committed to the ethical fashion cause, Greendyes Laboratory, part of the Spanish Nextil Group, has been developing natural dyes for the textile industry for almost a decade.
The company today is positioned to cater to all of the fashion industry’s needs in terms of responsible and sustainable dyes, produced in the optimum conditions for protecting the environment.
With its broad range of mineral and vegetal pigments as well as dyes based on seaweed and micro-organism extracts, Greendyes can be used on everything from yarns and rolls of fabrics to finished products.
The dyes are made using a process that requires the equivalent of a glass of cold water per piece, which is recycled after each use, reducing energy consumption by 75% and avoiding toxic emissions.
Greendyes can be used both on natural fibres like cotton, linen, silk or wool, as well as synthetic or bio-synthetic fibres.
Material Health
1.- All the raw materials used are natural.
2.- All the raw materials used come from sustainable resources.
3.- All the raw materials used come from environmental and socially certified producers.
In this way the absolute traceability of the raw materials is ensured.
The dyes are natural, the raw materials are identified and characterized, and they do not contain any toxic element.
The natural dyes are easily integrated into the natural environment contributing to their “metabolism” and, therefore, they are bio-assimilated after use.
This means that if, for example, in applying these dyes to an organic cotton t-shirt, after use it will become a fertilizer for the environment
These solid, durable dyes carrying Cradle to Cradle and Confidence in Textiles certification and can be discovered in the Smart Creation area at Premiere Vision.
